Unified Cat – Overview

If you’re curious about the most popular cat breeds in America, you’ve come to the right place. We cover different dog breeds ranging from the Siamese to the Maine Coon, and everything in between.

Whether you want something that’s affectionate and loving or a cat that has a bit more personality, you’ll find it here.

We’ll start with some of our favorites:

Siamese

This is a very sweet breed with a lot of personality. They don’t mind being held and will follow you around all day long if you let them!

Maine Coon

These are great cats for people who have allergies because they have minimal shedding and are generally hypoallergenic.

They’re also known for being extremely loyal it’s not uncommon for them to stay with their owners even after death!

Ragdoll Cat

These playful little guys love attention from both humans and other animals alike! If you have kids or other pets at home this might be a great fit for your family as well!

Bengal Cat

Bengal cats are one of the most popular cat breeds because they are very intelligent, playful and energetic.

They have a short coat which makes them ideal for those who live in tropical areas and don’t want to spend too much time grooming their cat. They are known for their hunting skills and can often be found chasing birds or mice around your house!

Persian Cat

Persians are known for their long hair which is often likened to human hair due to its thickness and fullness.

They are sweet little creatures that love nothing more than curling up on your lap for some cuddles! These cats require regular brushing as their fur tends to get tangled easily but with regular brushing it shouldn’t cause any problems!

Savannah Cat

Savannah cats are very intelligent creatures who adapt well to new environments quickly making them perfect pets for families with children or multiple pets (especially dogs!). Their short coat means they don’t require too much grooming.

Sphynx Cat

The Sphynx cat is a hairless breed with large ears and round eyes. They have no fur at all; however, their skin does have a peach-like texture.

The Sphynx was first discovered in 1966 when two kittens were born in Canada with this unique genetic mutation. Because of this mutation, these cats require special attention to keep them from getting cold or overheated easily.

Bombay Cat

This breed was developed by breeding Manx cats with Siamese cats in order to create an elegant looking cat with long hair that would be easier to take care of than Manx cats themselves (who require frequent clipping).

Russian Blue

This breed is very elegant and beautiful with a silky blue coat. They are not too friendly but they can be trained to be social.

British Shorthair

The British Shorthair is a medium-sized cat that is known for its robust body and muscular limbs, which makes it look like a small dog.

They come in a huge variety of colors and patterns, but black and brown are the most common. This breed loves to play with toys and interact with humans.
